Master of Business Administration (MBA) Public Relations Concentration

Purpose

For interested students, the Master of Business Administration is offered with a concentration in Public Relations. In addition to building a strong set of business managerial skills, students will be prepared to use publicity to enhance their organization’s image. Students will learn from telecom faculty experienced in all facets of communication from the sports industry to the corporate world relative to building an effective public relations campaign. In addition to the MBA program learning goals, this concentration has the following learning goals:
  • Develop principled approaches to managing public relations campaigns.
  • Sharpen crisis management skills.
