Course Description

This is a capstone course, building on knowledge and skills acquired by the students in earlier courses. It covers issues and techniques in the design and programming of enterprise-wide applications. A use of distributed-computing objects and technologies is emphasized. The students are exposed to the complexities of integrating a multileveled and distributed infrastructure. In particular, client (end-user), middle-ware, and enterprise database systems and tools are explored. The students are required to develop projects for client-server computing in a multitier architecture. Highly productive development tools are utilized.
